How much does it cost to use JobScore?
You can use JobScore for free if you are on the SHARE plan. There are two things we charge for:
- Subscription: If you don't want to share resumes, you'll need to sign up for one of our SUBSCRIBE plans - which include a monthly subscription fee based on the number of open jobs you are currently trying to fill.
- Credits: If you want to contact more recommended candidates from the JobScore Network than you share, you'll need to buy credits. Credit prices are listed here.
JobScore also makes it easy to purchase job postings on most major job boards (i.e. Careerbuilder, Craigslist, LinkedIn). Our posting prices are listed here.
There are no additional / hidden signup, configuration, termination or support fees: what's shown above is everything we charge for.
JobScore is a self-service application, so if you like what you see, please sign up and get started. The SHARE plan is free and if you are on a SUBSCRIBE plan the first 30 days are free. If you still have questions please request a guided tour or email support@jobscore.com
What are the differences between the SHARE plan and SUBSCRIBE plans?
- Monthly subscription fee: The JobScore SHARE plan is free. On JobScore SUBSCRIBE plans you pay a monthly fee based on the number of open jobs in your account. For simplicity's sake: on the SHARE plan you pay with data to use JobScore, on SUBSCRIBE plans you pay with dollars.
- Credits: With the JobScore SHARE plan you share resumes to earn credits. On the JobScore SUBSCRIBE plan you cannot share resumes. Details on how resume sharing works can be found here.
What are credits? How do I get credits? How much do credits cost?
Each time you contact a recommended candidate from the JobScore Network it costs 1 credit. You can get credits by:
- Buying credits:
If you have administrative privileges, you can purchase credits on the Credit Manager
page.
- Current Credit Prices: 1 credit for $40 || 10 credits for $200 || 100 credits for $1500
- Earning credits:
- On the JobScore SHARE plan, you earn 1 credit for each new resume you share. Resumes are only considered "new" if they aren't already in the JobScore Network.
- Regardless of your plan, you earn 10 award credits for each employer you refer who signs-up for the JobScore SHARE plan.
Why do you charge separately for subscription plans and credits?
Our primary goal right now is to fill the JobScore Network with resumes, and our pricing reflects that goal. On the JobScore SHARE plan you can use JobScore for free - provided you add more new resumes than you take out. However, it was clear this wouldn't work for everyone:
- Some people won't share resumes, period. However, they still wanted to use JobScore. For these people we offer the JobScore SUBSCRIBE plan, charging them based on their usage (the # of open jobs in their account)
- Some people want to take more resumes out than they share. For these people, we charge a small fee per credit and offer volume discounts if they purchase credits in bulk.
What's the difference between paid credits and award credits?
- Paid credits are good forever -- you must purchase them.
- Award credits, also known as free credits, are earned by sharing resumes or by successfully referring other employers to sign-up for a JobScore SHARE account. Award credits expire after 90 days, so use them fast!
What is the monthly fee? Why do some plans cost more than others?
If you don't want to share resumes, we charge a monthly fee to use JobScore. Subscription plan pricing is based on the number of jobs you have open at one time, so the more positions you are trying to fill, the more you pay.
How much does it cost for each user?
We don't charge per user, we charge per open job. Whichever plan you choose, you can add an unlimited number of users to your account. We think this is an important difference from other recruiting software companies.
As recruiters, our experience is that the more your team is involved in helping find great people, the better your hires will be. We designed JobScore so everyone in your company involved in the hiring process can use the system for no extra cost. Anyone on your team with user access can log in directly to add jobs, enter & review candidates, add feedback, and review reports... so that not only is everyone in your company participating in the hiring process, you are making it so recruiters don't have to do as much data entry and can focus on real recruiting work.
We also know that recruiters hate to compile reports...so when someone asks for a candidate pipeline update, just have them review the latest information in JobScore. Our goal is to make a simple, self service system that your entire company can use to find great people.
What is the maximum number of open jobs?
If you sign-up for a SUBSCRIBE plan, you pay based on how much you use JobScore.
We measure usage based on the number of open jobs that are listed on your careers site (that people can apply to). If you need to exceed the "maximum number of open jobs" please upgrade your plan and you'll immediately be able to add more jobs to your account. Currently we have three plans: Basic with 5 jobs, Plus with 25 jobs and Premium with 100 jobs. If you need an account with more than 100 open jobs, please send us an email.
On-hold, Closed and Filled status jobs don't count towards your total -- only Open jobs you are trying to fill right now and are accepting applications for.
There is no maximum number of open jobs if you are on the SHARE plan - you can add as many jobs as you want.
How do I pay for JobScore?
We only accept payment by credit card. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.
Can I switch between plans at any time?
Yes! Switch plans, upgrade, or downgrade your account at any time on the Edit Account page.
If I sign up for a subscription plan, when do you charge my credit card?
We charge your credit card on the 1st of the month in the first full month after you create your account, and every month thereafter until you cancel your account. So, if you signed up for a the BASIC plan on January 15th, we'll charge you your first payment on March 1st (February being your first full month).
