::search.labs is currently representing an exciting digital media firm in the los angeles, ca market that is looking for an sr. product manager, data warehouse to work with the business intelligence team. our client is a pre-equity event digital marketplace venture, with a unique and exciting collaborative culture. the compensation range for this role is in line with current salary levels. our client also offers equity opportunity, and a robust benefits package.
the role
this role will be an integral part our client's continuing efforts to enhance their operational execution in the area of relevant analytics + business insights for internal clients. the product manager will:
- create warehouse component product specs and requirements documents (prds).
- work with BI team, engineers, and affected stakeholders to define needs, enhancements, best practices and product roadmap.
necessary experience
- 3-5 years hands-on experience delivering and managing Data Warehouse products/services include staging, ETL, main warehouse, meta data, and aggregations.
- experience with commercial ETL products, like Informatica or Data Stage, and Warehouse technologies, such as Netezza, Data Allegro, and/or Green Plum.
ideal skills and education
- bachelors degree in science, mathematics, statistics or related area.
- must have a strong PM background from engineering or product side.
- internal facing product experience is preferred but not required.
- strong documentation and project management skills.
- expertise creating warehouse component product specs and requirements documents (PRDs).
- experience working for high transaction volume business (i.e. e-commerce, financial institution, etc.)
