the senior business analyst will work closely with property and cross-property teams in media, build a solid understanding of the operations of online media businesses, and play a leadership role in helping the media division optimize business performance across multiple properties by providing timely operational analysis and insight. this position reports to the senior director of operations.

our client is seeking a senior business analyst to join our media operations team. this position will be responsible for:

supporting the sr. director of media operations in developing and maintaining the annual group operating plan, quarterly business updates, monthly operating reviews, and other initiatives for the media business;
generating operational insights about our business by collecting and analyzing data from our management information systems;
providing support to other media teams on operational, organizational and strategic analyses as required by the business;
project management support for group-wide initiatives.

qualifications

• minimum of two years of work experience, preferably in a top-tier investment banking, management consulting, business / sales planning or similar environment.
• record of strong achievement in a competitive undergraduate setting.
  
• cfa / cpa coursework a plus.
  
• familiarity with essbase and business objects a plus.
  
• familiarity with the internet media landscape and online business models a plus.
