Our client is currently looking for a Community Manager to join their Digital Media team. Our client is an entertainment network that delivers an authentic original-content slate focused on innovative, engaging programming on entertainment, music, trends, comedy, relationships and lifestyle.
 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develops and facilitates campaigns for increasing views and sign-ups for the site community.
  • Tracks the progress and pulls reports on all growth and engagement campaigns.
  • Manages all sweepstake(s) processes and reporting.
  • Implements all newsletter campaigns for opt-ins and community.
  • Attends events to gather community profiles.
  • Acts as the liaison with the Editorial, Talent and Video Teams to determine opportunities for working with all departments to drive views and sign-ups.
  • Actively participates with Digital Talent and community, especially within the forums creating new posts and promotion.
  • Tracks the usage and effectiveness of all marketing tools provided to the community and makes recommendations for updates.  

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing or Publicity.
  • Advanced knowledge with Microsoft Office, Excel, and Powerpoint needed. Working experience with Photoshop and Flash a plus.
  • Advanced internet experience necessary.
  • Strong follow up and attention to detail is a must.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of talent wrangling, event planning, implementation and analysis.
  • Must be available weeknights and weekends to attend events which include but are not limited to music shows, fashion shows, art shows, festivals, etc.
  • Travel is required.
