Our client is currently looking for a Community Manager to join their Digital Media team. Our client is an entertainment network that delivers an authentic original-content slate focused on innovative, engaging programming on entertainment, music, trends, comedy, relationships and lifestyle.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develops and facilitates campaigns for increasing views and sign-ups for the site community.
- Tracks the progress and pulls reports on all growth and engagement campaigns.
- Manages all sweepstake(s) processes and reporting.
- Implements all newsletter campaigns for opt-ins and community.
- Attends events to gather community profiles.
- Acts as the liaison with the Editorial, Talent and Video Teams to determine opportunities for working with all departments to drive views and sign-ups.
- Actively participates with Digital Talent and community, especially within the forums creating new posts and promotion.
- Tracks the usage and effectiveness of all marketing tools provided to the community and makes recommendations for updates.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelors degree in Marketing or Publicity.
- Advanced knowledge with Microsoft Office, Excel, and Powerpoint needed. Working experience with Photoshop and Flash a plus.
- Advanced internet experience necessary.
- Strong follow up and attention to detail is a must.
- A minimum of 2-3 years of talent wrangling, event planning, implementation and analysis.
- Must be available weeknights and weekends to attend events which include but are not limited to music shows, fashion shows, art shows, festivals, etc.
- Travel is required.
