The networkt is currently available in more than 30 million homes and across broadband and wireless platforms, reaching a vital and fast-growing demographic. Our client is currently looking for a Director, Ad Sales to join their winning Ad Sales team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for identifying and creating sales opportunities.
- Cold call and set meetings with clients, ad agency execs and digital media execs.
- Identify marketing strategies and issues for clients
- Selling and handling of NEW clients and existing clients.
- Develop and manage relationships with clients and ad agencies to service accounts.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5 years+ successful National Cable TV advertising sales experience.
- Market pioneering or start-up sales experience strongly desired.
- Established mainstream client and ad agency relationships.
- National Cable TV GENERAL MARKET experience a plus.
- Youth market Ad Sales experience a help but not required.
- High Energy, intelligent person a must.
- Strong negotiation, cold-calling, presentation and sales skills are required.
- Travel will be required for at least twice a month out of New York.
